Delhi's pollution and divine intervention

Delhi, India's capital city is under the cover of pollution. Burning smell attacks and chokes the weaker parts of our body. Health specialists are busy voicing their concern by publishing articles in various online medium. There is no dearth of news, some of  which are contrary to your belief and are of opposite nature, and publishers are guaranteed to receive more views and followers for them. For example, a leading Doctor, during the initial pollution days, urged people to keep windows and doors open in the morning to let fresh air inside. Within hours, another specialist in whatsapp site claimed right time for allowing fresh air entry is in fact in the afternoon slot between 3 to 5 by singing a Tagore song: "Thy southerly wind"! After all its the wind, or lack of it, is the root cause behind all this agony other than man made issues.

Online sites are buzzing with advices of health precautions. A renowned Cardiologists of Apollo Hospital advised to stay indoor, no exercise, no walking/running, lie down and slowly breathe in and out. He even cautioned against fast and deep breathing as dust and soot will enter the body and has the capability to make our lungs vulnerable to the disease. Better to lie down motionless in the Yoga Nidra pose and listen to the sounds of crickets in absolute silence. Assume that you are a divine soul, waiting to  escape in the land of abundance where everything will be pure. Oh what a joy! In Tagore's word, "Oh Lord! let us take our boat towards the ocean of peace".

One more Specialist created a ruckus in the women's group by saying lighting scented sticks meant for goddess is a big no no as it increases indoor pollution. Silently Pray to the almighty goddess to protect us from the impending danger this time through her kindness. Or otherwise you can even sing "Hey, let the storm descends" and observe that still wind is making way for storm only to blow away pollution.

Simple people that we are, to dream is our birthright. We dream at night, we day dream about golden eagle of poet Jibanananda Das or Meghbalika ( A girl on the cloud who brings rain) by poet Joy Goswami. We even dream through Tagore's song "I remember in my dreams, when you knocked my door".  I dream of a pure and unadulterated relations with each others, I dream of a blue necked bird who roams freely in clear blue sky. And lastly to get a feel of fresh air in Delhi's park which is as divine as any parks of New York or Singapore.
